Testimonials
During my college years I was a little bit into boxing. But a lot of time has passed since then, so I was not practicing any martial art, until recently. The kickboxing classes held here have captured my interest after a friend of mine told me about it. Now I attend those on an almost regular basis, trying to recall what I've learned before...

While the story of this martial arts club is not as tumultuous and vivid as some stories out of ancient Chinese or Japanese epos tales, still we have more than 20 years of our proud history. It was in 1996, when the founder of the club, Hans Breuter was still considering whether to go the college for getting a law degree or pursue a career of teaching martial arts for the living. Luckily for 15, 00 students he and his instructors have taught since, Hans decided that founding a school of his own would be the best decision. During those 20 years Hans and his colleagues have achieved a tremendous level of success, helping thousands of individuals in becoming more empowered, fit, healthy and mind-balanced!

BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU

Brazilian jiu-jitsu, also known in its country of origin as the Kano jiu-jitsu and the “jujutsu” is a mixed combative, full-contact style…

Its origin lie within the mixing of the ancient Japanese fighting technique called Judo and some other Oriental fighting styles and fighting philosophies.

KARATE

Karate, also known as the “mother of all Japanese martial arts”, is really a laying foundation for all other fighting styles, originating in Japan… Developed in the Ryukyu islands (modern day Okinawa), it incorporates a lot of Chinese moves (like Fujian White Crane’s) kicks, punches, and strikes. Sometimes the worldwide popularity of the karate goes as far as to serves as an “umbrella term” for all Oriental striking-based martial arts.

KICKBOXING

While kickboxing is oftentimes confused with Asian indigenous Thai boxing, those two differ a lot. Kickboxing is basically a modern rendering and mingling of both the Western traditional boxing, Asian Muay Thai (Thai boxing) and the Japanese Karate technique… This ultimately makes kickboxing a hybrid martial art, that is mostly being learned now for either general fitness or sports-related matters.
